What do I do with an ISO/IMG/BIN?
Some files are stored as cd-rom ISO images. You need software that can read the binary data from it. We recommend for windows users "daemon tools".
Why do I get only sound when I watch an AVI?
You need to ensure you have the XVID codec installed. We recommend K-Lite Mega Codec builds of XVID.
I'm having problems logging in, what do I do?
The most common cause of login failure results from two things.
1. You have a firewall or anti-virus program running on your computer. Please temporarily disabled these programs when attempting to login as they can cause problems.
2. Your browser is not set to accept cookies. Ensure that your browser accepts cookies as this is also another culprit for login failure.
3. If all of your settings are correct and your firewalls are turned off and you still have problems you can reset your login here. Just enter your email into the box and you will be emailed instructions on resetting your login. If this does not solve the problem please contact us and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
When I access the Members Area with my login, the page refreshes itself and/or gives me an error message and I know I typed in my login correctly. What is the problem?
The problem might be with your web browser version. The current browsers you might be running are too old and out dated for our sites. You must upgrade to a higher version in order to be able to view ALL of our sites. Upgrade to either Netscape 4.76 or IE 6.0 or higher, depending on which on you choose to use. The upgrade is highly recommended.
I've checked my login and I'm using the latest web browser version and I still can't log in. What do I do?

How do I cancel my Hentaikey membership?
You may cancel your Hentaikey memberships at any time in the members area by clicking on 'Cancel Membership' in the menu options or by contacting us.
How can I download the movies?
To download a movie, you just have to right click on the movie link and then select "Save target as". You'll be prompted to choose a place where to store the movie on your hard drive, and then the download will start. Once itĄŻs finished saving, you'll simply have to double click on the file and play the movie. Before that please note that if you left click on the link, your media player will automatically spawn and start caching the movie to play and then you wonĄŻt be able to save the movie on your hard drive.
I have problems downloading multiple files. Is something wrong?
Nothing is wrong. Most servers are configured to allow 2 files maximum to be downloaded at a time. This is to ensure fast download speeds. If you are using a Download Accelerator then don't worry, the files will be queued. In the end your bandwidth is fixed so it will take you the same amount of time to download 4 files one at a time or 2 files 2 at a time.
If by chance you get an error when downloading and believe the movie is missing or movie parts are missing, simply email us and we will investigate the problem.
My downloads are getting cut off. Is there something I can do to prevent this?
The best remedy is to get a Download Manager. The Download Manager will ensure that if your download stops for any such reason (i.e.: getting cut off, or downloading on 56k which may take longer periods of time) that you can resume it at anytime thereafter. Furthermore, it can really accelerate your download speeds. We recommend Download Accelerator Plus or Getright, free versions of the software are available.
